POST Darkroom Membership offers photographers a dedicated analogue workspace and a supportive community for working with traditional B&W film and darkroom processes. Members have access to a fully equipped darkroom featuring two DeVere 504 enlargers, supporting 35mm, medium format and 5×4 negatives, with the ability to produce prints up to 20×16 inches.
The darkroom includes all essential equipment for developing negatives and photographic prints, providing a reliable, professional environment for both personal projects and sustained practice.
Membership is currently open, with a £40 monthly fee granting unlimited darkroom use during staffed hours*. All sessions are booked in advance via our online system, and access is limited to inducted members to ensure a safe, well-maintained working space. Members benefit from secure on-site lockers for storing negatives, paper and chemicals, as well as ongoing opportunities to develop their skills through regular darkroom teaching — from beginner induction courses to advanced printing techniques.
As part of a growing movement supporting analogue photography, we aim to expand access to the space over time, particularly for longer-term members committed to the darkroom community.
