Join us for POST’s first ever monthly Artist Talk on Thursday 8th January 2026. We are thrilled to be hosting an insightful presentation by the legendary Magnum photographer and Brighton resident – Mark Power.
As an introductory offer to POST’s cultural programme, we are pleased to be able to offer this first talk of the 2026 season free for everyone. It is the perfect opportunity to meet the team, explore the space, and learn about our programme of talks, workshops and community events. Future Artist Talks will incur a small entry fee but will always be free for POST members.
Known for his intensive, long-term projects, Mark has documented subjects ranging from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the geographic edges of London and the British Isles, as well as Poland’s transformation during its first five years in the European Union. A long-time Brighton resident, former Professor of Photography, and acclaimed Magnum Photographer, he has exhibited internationally and published fourteen celebrated books.
Mark’s talk will focus on three of his major projects: The Shipping Forecast, Good Morning America and his most recent publication Fashion. He will be signing books after the event. Explore more of his work at www.markpower.co.uk.
